Douglas Chavenello

Currently an Assistant Chief for the Fairfield Fire Department and former training director for the Fairfield Regional Fire School, Doug has been a career firefighter for 29 years. Hired at the young age of 19, Doug has acquired certifications as Fire Service Instructor I, Fire Officer I, Haz Mat Technician, Safety Officer, Station Evaluator and is a certified Deputy Fire Marshal for the Town of Fairfield. Doug is an active member of the USAR team and is current president of Fairfield Firefighters Local 1426. As an expert arborist, Doug has a tremendous amount of experience with rigging and rope techniques.
