Angus
began his fire service career in 1982 as a volunteer with the
Westport Fire Department. In 1984, Angus began dispatching part
time for both the Norwalk Fire Department and the Westport Fire
Department. In 1985, Angus became a full time dispatcher for
the Town of Weston while continuing to dispatch part time in
Westport. In 1986, Angus began his full time Dispatching career
with the Westport Fire Department where he is currently a Dispatcher
/ M.I.S. Technician for 24 years. Angus also joined the Stratfield
Volunteer Fire Department in 1986 and currently serves as Deputy
Chief.
Angus
is one of the founding members of the Fairfield County Hazmat
Communications Response Team and is one of the first certified
Communications Leaders in the State. Angus is also an EMT-B,
CPR Instructor, Fire Instructor 1, Safety Officer and Station
Evaluator.
Angus
and his wife have 4 children and live in Stratford.
